Indulgently expensive compared to our other spice blends . This is one has some of the most expensive spices in the world in it but when you consider you will get 21 meals for £4.45 its not so bad! The perfect curry for those that don't like it too spicy. It's really simple too!

Ingredients

1 tbsp Spice Pantry French Vadouvan Curry Blend
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to season
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 large onion
500g chicken - cut into bite-size pieces
200ml coconut milk (freeze the other half of the tin in a plastic container)
Serve with rice, poppadom’s, samosas, naan bread and bhaji’s

Directions
Let's Prep!

Dice the onions and cut chicken into bite size pieces.
Let's Cook!
Stove Top

Add the oil to a large deep skillet, wok or saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and fry for 5 minutes.

Season the chicken with a little salt and pepper and add to the onions. Cook until white (5 minutes)

Ramp up the heat and add Vadouvan spice mix. Stir vigorously for one minute and reduce to medium heat again.

Add the tomato puree and coconut milk and continue to cook for 15 - 20 minutes or once the sauce is thick enough for your taste.

You can also add our Spice Pantry Curry Roast Potatoes spice blend to potatoes that will send your taste buds through the roof! We always have roast potatoes with curry, ok its not conventional but there are no rules!
Recipe Note
I often add peppers to the cooking at the same time as i add the chicken. I know its not authentic but who cares i love peppers and thats what cooking is about. Eating the food you love.
