Directions
Let's Prep!
-
Such a simple dish to prepare and make! But it tastes great. We have suggested Chicken thighs here, but it works just as well with chicken breasts.
-
To make the paste, add 1½ tbsp of Spice Pantry Chermoula Spice Blend to the olive oil and lemon juice and combine.
Let's Cook!
Oven Cook
-
Preheat oven to 400°f/ 200°c/ 180°c/ gas mark 6
-
If using an oven tray make sure it's lightly greased to stop the chicken sticking.
-
Place your chicken on the oven tray and add a generous topping of the chermoula paste, make sure they are all covered.
-
Cook on rack or a baking tray, cover the chicken in foil and cook for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and let it cook for a further 10-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. If you have a meat thermometer the internal temperature should be 165°f/ 74°c.
Stove top
-
Seal the chicken first, when its white take out of the pan and coat with the paste. Put back into the pan along with a bit more oil if needed, gently cook for 20-30 minutes turning regularly until fully cooked. Internal temperature should be 165°f/ 74°c.
Air fryer
-
If using an air fryer cook your chicken skin-side down for 10 minutes at 180°c, then turn and cook for a further 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and skin is crispy. You can check the temperature with a meat thermometer if you have one, it should be 165°f/ 74°c.
Enjoy!
