This Mediterranean Spice Blend will boost your meat to another level, it contains (among others) Sumac which is found in a lot of Mediterranean cooking.
Sumac Comes from the Tree/shrub Rhus Coriaria which grows wild in western Asia and Translates from Arabic as dark red.
It has a tart citrus flavour and can be an alternative to lemon juice. In this case it compliments the other spices to give this Turkish recipe a wonderful flavour. Love it!
